The event was held at Capital Prep Magnet school known for placing 100% of its graduates into a four year college or university since inception. 100%!! Mr. Steven Perry, the schools Principal has an inspiring story and is certainly the perfect role model for the children he oversees. It’s clear that Mr. Perry has made friends in Hugh places through his benevolent endeavors. In addition to Mr. Cosby, who had the entire audience in happy tears, we heard from guest speakers Jaylen Rose, NFL Hall of Famer Franco Harris and Soladad O’Brien interviewed two graduates of the school currently attending Moorehouse. We left the event feeling so inspired to get involved in some way. After all, the success of our nation depends on the success of our youth.
